Basic Golf Course Etiquette
1. Do not
hit into the group in front of you. Yell "fore" if there is
a chance of hitting another player.
2. Stay quiet when another player is hitting or setting
up a shot.
3. After a shot is made from a bunker, smooth the material
so a fellow golfer may have a good lie.
4. Repair all divots and ballmarks on greens.
5. On the Green:
Never carry your bag while you walk across a green. Try not to walk
on your fellow golfers line. Mark your ball with a coin or ball marker
so as not to interfere with the other player's putt. Be careful not
to damage the green with your club, the flagstick, or your golf spikes.
6. Play ready golf and keep the pace of play. Nobody
likes to wait 5 minutes for another player to hit each shot.
